Glendale Glitters

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to the opening night of Glendale Glitters. (after a loooong day of shopping) There were sooo many lights. Luke's favorite part of the night was the bus ride from GCC to downtown Glendale.

massage chair

Jeff has a back massage chair that Luke LOVES. He always likes to sit in it. And when Daddy is in it, he will push him out so he can sit there. The chair also vibrates your butt (which Luke likes more than the back massage)

fun at the park

going to the park is always fun. But more fun when you have a buddy to go with.

tragic times

Yesterday morning, we got a phone call from Jeff's mom. Jeff knew something was wrong from the tone in her voice. Jeff's step-brothers (?) baby boy died in the middle of the night (probably.) He was only 2 1/2 months old. The fire fighters said it looked like suffocation. Anyway, his parents are only in their early 30's, and they have a 3-4 year old daughter. They told her that her baby brother went to heaven. Jeff' step-brother and hi wife are facing a really tough time right now. Jeff and I went to visit them last night.

It is in times like these that I am so thankful for the church and the gospel in my life. It got Jeff and I thinking a lot yesterday. With all the great pain felt by them and any other parent who loses a child; it is a great blessing to have the fullness of the gospel and know that families can be together forever someday.

Although it was a sad occasion that we went to visit, Jeff felt strongly to give them a book of mormon. So, we'll see what happens.

On Friday, Grandma picked us uup and took us back to her school for a BBQ. there were some bounce houses for the kids to play in. (Mom forgot to take pics-oh well) I got my face painted with Grandma's school colors. RED & BLUE (coyote paw prints on each cheek) Afterwards, we decided to go to the mall for a little bit. When Grandma Nevada saw these at Children's Place, she couldn't resist buying them..
