I was on the computer and turned around to say something to luke. he had put on daddy’s socks. he’s to cute.

this is what our house looks like right now…
because we are upgrading to a two bedroom apartment.
WOO-HOO! it will be so much nicer for luke to have his very own room. (two years overdue) better late then never-right?
our internet will be shut off tonight and we won’t have it back til monday. a whole weekend with no internet- what will i do??
a while ago, matt was having fun with luke and he did that trick where you pull something out of your ear.
well, every now and then, luke will take his binky, put it in his ear and pull it out. sometimes one in each ear.

i geot a phone call from my mom yesterday afternoon saying :help, there’s a rattlesnake right outside the front door, what do i do?” and of course, no one is ever home when you need them. she was about to leave to run some errands, but plans quickly changed. after about an hour or so, she got up enough courage to walk around back and go out the side gate to go run errands. so, i was trying to call some people… no luck. then i thought , i’ll call mom’s home teacher-he’ll know what to do. i only had his wife’s number, so i called her and asked her to call her husband.she said she would make some phone calls and call me back. she called back a few minutes later to say her 16 year old son and some friends were on their way with a shovel. a few minutes later, i get a phone call saying that the snake is dead and it’s safe for mom to go back home. when mom got home, she said there was blood everywhere.
**funny side note. One of the neighbors was home. well, he came over with a shovel, but when he saw it was a rattlesnake, he ran.
***jeff was sad to not have been the one to kill it. and i was sad not to be there to get pictures.
reese and luke had fun on saturday night when we stayed at grandmas. (although i’m not sure pepper had as much fun)

these past two weeks have been so much fun having two of my sisters in town. it was crazy at my mom’s house. between us there were ten kids. we did a little scrapbooking while they were here. but mostly just let the cousins play. i’ll say we all went swimming just about every day, until the last 4 days. that’s when we found out that 3 sisters (amy’s kids) had lice, 3 or 4 kids had pink eye, 2 ear infections, and 1 with swimmer’s ear. here are the few pictures i took. we were just so busy that i forgot to take pictures.

tonight, all of my siblings, well… 6 out of 8 of us, went out to dinner. just siblings… no spouses, no kids. jeff had 9 kids tonight. amy’s 5, brooke’s 3, & luke. sara came with me.
we were told that abbi & lucy started bawling as soon as we left. just because…

my sisters, brooke and amy, are in town with their kids this week. we had a cousins party tonight. there were 11 cousins tonight. fun, fun, fun
as families, we are supposed to create “ family totem poles”. (pictures to come) Some drew their faces tonight.

when i went to get sara out of the car tonight, after coming home from my mom’s house, this is what i saw.
no wonder why she was so quiet on the car ride home.
my mom just got back wednesday from being in altanta, georgia for a week. my oldest sister, staci, lives there. anyway, my mom said staci sent something back for me. she just brought it over today.
