all is well

I called my doctor's office this morning and left a message with my nurse. She called me back and said everything is fine. phew... I am so glad I don't have to worry about anything.

Last tuesday, Feb. 17, I went in for my lovely 1 hour blood sugar glucose test. On thursday my nurse called me to say that my blood sugar levels were elevated so I get to do the test again- this time being a 3 hour test. So, yesterday, i went in at 8 am to start my test. The lady taking my blood said that the results should be in this week. i should hear within a day or two if something is wrong. but to assume that no news is good news.

Sunday with Grandma

Dad had to go help Pepper work on his car today. (which still isn't fixed- another post) so, we all spent the day at Grandmas. i like going over there. grandma & I put lotion on and cuddle. she makes some good food, too. :)

27 weeks

I am 27 weeks along. i have gained a whopping 10 pounds so far. i feel great this pregnancy. (except for when luke jumps on me. one of the cutest things is when Luke will give"sis" a kiss after i tell him not to jump on her.

this has become one of Luke's favorite jars in the house. he eats at least one a day. [my apologies go out to Amy- who gave this jar to us a wedding gift- and sadly it's not being used for what it says] sorry. we keep it right next to the computer, so every time mommy sits down to blog or just waste time on the computer, Luke asks for one.

the other night Luke put on Jeff's garment top. he was pretty funny especially because he put his head through the arm hole.

Luke got to have his first dilly bar tonight. thanks for your post, Matt. you made me want one. we were going to go get some ice cream anyway, so i looked up dairy queen, and there is one not too far from us. YEAH!! Anyway, i made Jeff take me there to get a dilly bar. good, but the one's with belly buttons were the best!

the past few days, Luke has been going in the bathroom, lifting up the toilet seat and then taking off his diaper. so, we let him sit on the toilet. he doesn't do anything, but i think he likes to sit on it and feel somewhat like a big boy. he doesn't always like having a diaper put back on either.
i know...... we need to get him his own size toilet seat.
I am not quite sure that he is ready to be potty trained. or maybe it's me who is not ready for her baby boy to grow up too much. maybe a little of both. we'll wait and see what happens.

Don't panic, that is Not blood on his face. It is homemade raspberry jam. Luke loves to eat homemade bread with homemade jam on it. Thanks Grandma for teaching mom and dad to make this yummy stuff.

Luke and his chair

Tonight, Luke was being so funny. I was trying to take a picture of him sitting in his chair. Anyway, when I get the camera out and back up, he thinks that he needs to scoot closer. So, after a few minutes, he would start to scoot back in his chair.



then he would pick up his chair, while still sitting in it, and come back to where I was.


Needless to say, but i didn't get a great picture of him. sometimes it frustrates me because when he sees the camera come out, he won't do whatever he was doing anymore. :)
