spring break fun

last week, was Grandma's spring break. She was excited because she got to have Tanner spend a few days with her. well, Luke LOVES Tanner, so he got to spend a few days with grandma and tanner. Chad dropped tanner off on sunday night, and so the fun begins... THANKS FOR SUCH A FUN COUPLE DAYS, GRANDMA!

Sunday:
tanner, grandma and luke had a lotion party

tanner and luke enjoying a donutMonday: we all just relaxed and ran a few errands. oh, jeff cleaned up mom's breaks a bit.

Tuesday:
we all (me, mom, jeff, tanner, and luke) went to the children's museum. in honor of st. patrick's day, their were these leprachaun wands that we could make.
this is what we had to work with

luke and tanner had a blast chasing each other through noodle forest.

Wednesday:
we decided to let the kids make their own pizza's the kids had fun.

bad day!!

well, I did have a lot of pictures to upload to the blog today. but, after my day, you will have to wait.
A few days ago, Luke started getting a fever, but pretty much only at night. this morning he woke up at 6:30 burning up, so we took his temperature. 101.6-wow!! he was up for about an hour before i put him back down. while he was napping, I called the pediatric nurse. she told me that i should bring him in. so i called jeff at work, he got off early and we went to the doctor. ANOTHER ear infection. when we left the doctors, we went to fry's to fill his prescription. #3 HOUR WAIT-holy smokes!
anyway, we went to another store and luke was upset that we made him sit in the cart. In an attempt to cheer him up, i slipped and fell. i heard my knee pop. NOT good. i think i am fine. luke did quit crying- but i started. Too much sitting- must go ice my knee now.

look familiar, Amy?

amy's kids donated this race track set to Luke at Christmas time. this is really the first time we have gotten it out and out together. luke is LOVING it. thanks Barry family

only thing is, we can't get the cars to work. the only ones that even start up are mater and the police car. we even tried brand new batteries in one, and it still doesn't work. any suggestions? any secrets, amy?

Sunday Fun

Pepper & Amy invited us to go have a picnic and have some fun with them today up at Anthem Park. we have never been there before, so we had no idea what to expect. the park was HUGE. anyway, at first, we couldn't find pep & amy, so we just let luke play for a while while jeff walked around the park to see if he could find pepper. he did. so we went over by them. it was a lot of fun. Thanks Pepper & Amy for a nice couple hours at the park. it was such a beautiful day to be at the park. Luke had fun with Reese and Alexis.

We flew kites and had a great time. Every time Luke got to hold the kite, he would just throw the string and so Pepper would have to chase it.

Grandma trying to get the kite out of the tree (thanks Alexis)
We fed the ducks... well, tried to, but the ducks were being stubborn and wouldn't come over to us. I have never seen ducks NOT want bread. oh well...
