the best part

luke and i made brownies tonight.  then he got the BEST part… licking out the bowl.

 

one week

well, sara is one week today.  i went to change her diaper this morning, and then i was going to give her a sponge bath. well, i discovered that her belly button thingy fell off.  i am happy because now she can do this…

she actually enjoyed her shower.

on another note…

sara has the BEST big brother ever.

luke is always wanting to hold her and comfort her.  he is concerned when she cries.  he loves to cuddle with her. abd he  is constantly giving her .hugs & kisses

thanks to melody, tina, & mom, who all took turns watching luke while we were in the hospital. 

we are all home and doing well.  luke is doing extremely well with the baby. 

hair

sorry, i haven’t posted for a couple days.  this is my THIRD post tonight.  but, I just got a really cute hair cut before i have the baby this week.

my mom has a student that goes to cosmetology school who volunteered to cut my hair for me.  the best part of it all- the price.  $7.

i love you!!

the other night, we went out to eat with grandma, and just out of nowhere, luke grabbed me and grandma by the neck, pulled us close and said “ i love you”

fun with uncle matt

uncle matt came over the other night to have dad look at his car.  while dad was outside fixing the car, matt came inside to play with me.  uncle matt is so much fun.

luke loves to help make anything in the kitchen.  he just likes to help period.  so, the other morning, jeff let luke help him make pancakes.

Cinco de Mayo

Pepper & Amy had a party for all the neighborhood kids tonight.  luke & i went too. jeff missed out because he had school.  it was held at the green-belt just around the corner from their house.

pepper & amy had a lot of fun things for the kids to do.  a giant sized ball thing that you can roll around in, a slip-n –slide, and a PINATA.
