last saturday the kids helped make a chocolate cake and white cupcakes for nana’ birthday.

vanilla…
BUT, everybody knows the BEST part is licking the spatula afterwards.
later, after everything cooled, we made chocolate frosting and frosted the cake and cupcakes.
sara was more interested in eating the frosting from the spatula… and ANYWHERE else it fell.

is it making anyone else nervous that the kids are teetering on the edge of the counter? my kids care nothing about the cupcake. just the frosting and uncooked batter. we must be related.
I was right behind them while taking pictures...they were very safe and too distracted with the frosting to move around too much:)
