the other night, we promised luke some ice cream. while we were at fry’s, we looked to see what they had on sale.  he picked this…

isn't it cute?  it’d just his size. 

it even came with a spoon attached to the lid.

i found some stickers while cleaning my room tonight.  i gave them to luke.  maybe it was a mistake.

it was hard to get the whole walk because of all the turns and the bushes were in the way.  but, you get the idea.

the BIG day

we have been telling luke all week about what he is supposed to do for his uncle mike’s wedding.  he has been so excited. 

luke didn’t carry the rings, he just carried an empty box.  he did not put the box down, either.  but, we told him what he would do and who to walk with.   he did EXACTLY as he was told.  he was just TOO CUTE.

 

  that’s a good flower you have, dad.

he LOVES his tuxedo.  he is even going to wear it to church tomorrow.

another gone

we payed off our second credit card this year. what a relief.  YAY!!!

looking spiffy!!

both of jeff’s brothers are getting married this year.  one on march 6, the other october 1.

mike and cat (the one’s getting married march 6) want luke to be the ring bearer.   

so i thought that i would go check out burlington coat factory for a suit.  we found a suit, but it didn’t even come with a shirt and tie.  (other one’s did, but they weren’t his size)  so, we were going to leave.  on our way out, we walked by the formal wear.  we found a tux.  for the same price as the suit pants and jacket, you could get a tux completed with a cummerbund  and bowtie.  i thought it was too cute to pass up.  Luke wore the jacket through the store.

then i thought, shoot, now we have to buy him dress shoes because he can’t wear tennis shoes with a tux. it just wouldn’t look  right.  we found some at kohls.  i like them because they are velcro so luke can put them on himself.
