Well, after waiting 3 weeks, Pepper & Amy's car is finally up and running. it only took 3-4 days to fix it, really. but it takes time to order parts. pepper & jeff started off replacing the left bank head ( which, of course had to be ordered) it took almost a week to get in. so, the next week, jeff went to help install it. well after putting it all back together, they discovered that the right bank head was dead. again the part had to be ordered. another couple days. last saturday, jeff took off work to FINISH pepper's car. they got it done. FINALLY!! the car started up fine, but the alternator started to short out. so after a new alternator, both pepper & amy took the car car out for a test drive. amy says that it runs better than even before. aall for only around $800 or so. jeff said that at the dealership, they would have spent at least $3500.

good, so changing out a clutch is going to be a piece of cake after that, right?! haha. jeff, totally awesome that you're willing to share your talents. someday we'll all come around to kristen's choice for a husband ... this helps. i'm sure pep and amy are grateful, too. we are INFINITELY grateful to you for everything you have done for us {car-related and not}. miss you guys.
