amendment to the target story

as amy so kindly let me know that the story did not end  funny, it did:, however, i  just forgot to put it in.

you see, i was in such a hurry to get out of the store that i just put my pile of stuff on a shelf somewhere.

by that time, jeff and aaron were waiting outside for us.  I got to the car with the stroller. when jeff got out of the car to help get the kids in & everything, he noticed sara playing with something and asked me what is was.  i looked at sara and started laughing.  apparently, i was in such a hurry that i forgot to see if the kids had anything in their possession anywhere. luke had given her a car to play with.  and she still had it.  we walked right out of the store with it.

well, we thought it was funny anyway.

p.s.  yes, i took it back in.

now you're getting the hang of daily blogging: break up a story in to 2 parts. 2 parts = 2 days' worth. nice.

i liked that ending much better. thanks for amending. :)

I thought both endings where pretty funny. There isn't anything like someone elses painful or embarrassing moment to brighten my day. We used to leave stores and find that Bryce had his pockets full of little suprises. Most of the time we catch it before it was too late, but I remember one year on our drive down to Arizona from Utah we stopped at a gas station a couple hours later bryce pulls some bubble tape from his pocket. We only stopped once, so we made a special trip to that gas station on our way home from Arizona to pay for the gum.
